Homefound is being coded from scratch by Jin Woo, a Southern California software developer, with zero corporate overhead and no bloated budget.

What the pool is building
- Transparency feed Public allocations so donors see who moved the money, for what category, and for which neighbor (first name only).
- Allocator path Screened community advocates first; verified licensed caseworkers are a goal we’re working toward for complex relief.
- Server, legal & nonprofit path Hosting, administrative setup, and the path toward 501(c)(3) so future gifts can become tax-deductible.

Cash never changes hands on the street. Every allocation can be posted to a public transparency feed so you track impact without turning neighbors into individual crowdfunding campaigns.
